Family lawyers sought to participate in survey about family law arbitration

Saskia Lau, a PhD candidate from Bucerius Law School in Hamburg, Germany, and visiting postgraduate student at Exeter University, is looking to do a survey among family lawyers about their perception and/or experiences of family law arbitration in the England and Wales. Saskia is undertaking a comparative analysis of German and English law and practice in this area in order to understand fully the perceived advantages and disadvantages of this new form of family dispute resolution. The survey will form part of a PhD project.

Saskia emphasises that in compliance with research ethics approval, all answers will be anonymised and will remain confidential. The survey results will be used only for the purpose of the PhD thesis or related academic publication.

The link to the survey is here.

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

If you have any questions or concerns and/or want to get more information about the project please contact Saskia Lau at saskia.lau@law-school.de or Professor Anne Barlow at Exeter University, who is supervising this part of the research, at a.e.barlow@exeter.ac.uk.
