The Custody Minefield produces child relocation report

The campaigning group publishes report into the courts' handling of child relocation cases.

The Custody Minefield, the campaigning website on issues relating to leave to remove and internal relocation, today releases a report in which it alleges significant flaws in family law related child relocation cases.

The research based report concludes that the UK family courts routinely ignore what is in a child’s best interests due to what it claims is a rigid adherence to outdated case law which ignores social and psychological research.

A foreword, written by Bob Geldof, concludes:

'This report is important, timely and vital. To accept its findings .... is to accept the awful conclusion that .... the courts have consistently acted against society’s interest through the application of prejudice, gender bias and awful impartial cruelty.'

The report is published today at www.thecustodyminefield.com .
