Presenter
Lucy Loizou is Managing Partner at The International Family Law Group LLP.
Lucy handles complex financial cases relating to divorce and separation and has worked on a number of matters involving high net worth assets often including an international element. She has particular expertise in dealing with difficult trust and corporate assets and in cases concerning financial provision for children under Schedule 1 Children Act 1989.
Lucy regularly writes for various legal journals on topical aspects of family law and for the Parikiaki newspaper within the Greek and Cypriot community.
She frequently lectures to family lawyers about family law issues both nationally and internationally, for a number of national organisations and at professional conferences.
For the past 15 years Lucy has presented her own fortnightly radio show on London Greek Radio fielding questions from listeners on family related issues. Lucy is much in demand as an advisor to the Greek and Cypriot community and is known as the ‘go to’ family lawyer for Greek and Cypriot families. She has set up an Anglo/Greek association as a forum for specialist lawyers in Greece and Cyprus to forging links and as a means of updating practitioners on topical issues in international family law with particular reference to Greece and Cyprus. Lucy speaks Greek fluently.
Lucy is a Fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers (IAFL).
Lucy is Vice Chair of the national family law organisation, Resolution
Lucy also formed and chaired National Young Resolution, which today is a flourishing association for young family lawyers.
Lucy is a member of the Ladies Legal Golf Association.
