Family Law Week Recognition Awards 2025

Join us on the 23rd October 2025 in London where we will be hosting the inaugural Family Law Week Recognition Awards.

These awards have been designed to honour outstanding contributions and commitment within Private Children Law. From ground-breaking casework and policy impact to exemplary advocacy and support for children and families, these awards reflect our shared commitment to excellence and professional development.

Awards will be presented in the following categories:

• Family Law Week Solicitor of the Year.   [A solicitor who works in private children law]
• Family Law Week Barrister of the Year.  [A barrister who works in private children law]
• Family Law Week Professional of the year [this can include members of CILEX, solicitors, barristers, paralegals, legal executives, mediators, and social workers, as well as other practitioners and specialists whose work contributes to the field of private children law]
• Family Law Week Young Professional of the Year  [this can include a paralegal, trainee, pupil barristers etc. who work in private children law].
• Family Law Week Rising Star of the Year [this award applies to those who are qualified in the field of private children law and who are less than 4 years in practice from date of qualification].

Nominations are open.

The deadline for submissions is: 5th October 2025 at midnight.

Winners will be announced on the 23rd October 2025 at the Private Children Law Conference at the Cavendish Conference Centre, London.

To nominate yourself, please complete the nomination form and upload a self-written statement (maximum 1,000 words), along with two pieces of supporting evidence. (Please include your name on each uploaded file & document).
