Not Beyond Redemption (NBR) is looking for a compassionate and resilient Family Lawyer to join their core team and supervise a caseload of private law family cases. The charity provides free family legal advice and representation to mothers in the women’s prisons across England, to assist with re-establishing access and relationships with their children, and is expanding to assist women who receive community sentences.

NBR is seeking a solicitor/CILEX lawyer (minimum of 1-year PQE in family law) to work full-time on a hybrid basis. The candidate must work from the office in Gough Square, London, at least 2 days per week. Occasional travel to prisons and community settings will also be required.

The role involves leading legal clinics, managing/supervising a caseload of Children Act 1989 proceedings from initial instructions through to court representation, supporting pro bono lawyers to provide legal assistance, and representing the charity at events. NBR is looking for a dedicated, organised lawyer with the ability to provide sensitive, non-judgemental legal advice to women facing complex barriers.
