CPD: Frequently Asked Questions

How much does an annual subscription cost?
Only £109 + VAT for unlimited access over a period of 12 months.

Does the subscription run for 12 months from the day I subscribe?
Yes. For example if you subscribe on 1 November 2011 your subscription would run until 31 October 2012.

Do I have to take a course every month to claim my CPD?
No - you can take courses whenever it suits you. Some people do keep up every month but you can take as many as you like in one session. We always have at least 12 courses available at any one time.

Is the subscription for an individual or can it be shared?
Each subscription is for an individual so that their training log can be updated.

How do I keep records of courses I have passed?
Every time you pass a course it is recorded by the site. When you log on to the site, you can print a record of all the courses you have passed and individual certificates.

How many CPD hours do your courses qualify for?
Our monthly case updates count for one hour of CPD. We also publish courses based on podcasts, and other courses on topical issues that may be worth more.

How will your courses keep me up to date?
Our monthly courses help to reinforce your reading of the very latest cases published that month – much more quickly than any other form of training.

I don't practise in both finance and children work – is that a problem?
Not at all. We publish three courses per month – one on children private law, one on children public law and one on finance and divorce - so that you can concentrate on the cases that matter to you.

Are there any hidden costs?
No – all you need is access to the internet. Of course there are no expensive travel costs or out of office time to add on either, making our CPD the best value available.

Can I train at home?
Yes – with our online training you can train wherever you have a connection to the internet: at home, in the office, the library or even the hotel when you are working away from home.

Can I get a discount for my chambers or firms?
We are always happy to consider your team's requirements and possible discounts – call us on 0870 1453935 to discuss.

Do I get any other benefits for being a subscriber?
Yes – you can also claim a 10% discount on the cost of any family law conferences run by our partners at Lime Legal.
