Courts and Tribunals (Online Procedure) Bill receives second reading

The Courts and Tribunals (Online Procedure) Bill received its second reading in the House of Lords on 14 May and is due to have its second reading on 14 May 2019. The Government Bill, if enacted, will establish a judicially chaired committee tasked with developing new, simplified rules around online services in civil, family and tribunal proceedings.

The Bill will now receive line-by-line examination in committee on a date to be scheduled.
