Conservative-only Government would repeal the Human Rights Act, says Justice Secretary

Chris Grayling tells Sunday Telegraph that government would ‘start again’

Chris Grayling, the Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Justice has told the Sunday Telegraph that if the Conservative Party won an overall majority at the next election, it would repeal the Human Rights Act.

"We need a dramatically curtailed role for the European Court of Human Rights in the UK," he told the paper.
