New private law children cases received by Cafcass 26% down on previous 12 months

Figures for March 2015 10% down on March 2014

In March 2015, Cafcass received a total of 3,249 new private law cases.  This is a 10% decrease on March 2014 levels.

Between April 2014 and March 2015 Cafcass received a total of 34,357 new private law cases. This figure shows a decrease of 26% from the 46,636 cases received in the previous financial year.
