Jewish husband ‘banned’ from synagogues because of refusal to grant get

Wife has sought religious divorce for 15 years

The London Beth Din has taken out an advert in the Jewish Chronicle calling for a man to be refused entry into synagogues because of his refusal to grant his wife a religious divorce. This is believed to be an unprecedented step.

The couple were civilly divorced in 2002. However, the notice states that the husband has refused his wife a Get (a Jewish bill of divorce) for 15 years.
