High Court in India asks Law Commission to recommend signing Hague Convention

The Times of India reports that the Punjab and Haryana High Court has asked the Law Commission of India to make recommendations for accession to the Hague Convention on Child Abduction.

The newspaper says that Justice Rajive Bhalla confirmed that a reference had been made to the Law Commission when giving judgment in respect of a child taken from India to England.
