New private law cases received by Cafcass in June up 6% on a year ago

3,599 new private law cases received in the month

In June 2016, Cafcass received a total of 3,599 new private law cases.  This is a 6% increase on June 2015 levels.

In the first three months of the current year (2016-2017) Cafcass has received 10,327 new private law cases, which represents an increase of 14% from the 9,040 new cases received in the same quarter last year.
