E-working in the family jurisdiction and plans for reform

A paper updating plans for the future in relation to e-working in the family jurisdiction has been published. The paper provides a high level first view of the changes that are expected to be designed and implemented over the coming year so that decisions to roll out local changes in the short term can be made in an informed way.

The paper states that the Reform programme will use the Public Law Project, which is due to start in October 2017, as a pathfinder to develop the 'evidence management' common component which will be the solution for document management and evidence upload. This will replace or modify many of the local solutions currently in place for e-filing and e-bundles.

It is hoped that the first release of this solution will be available in the spring of 2018, following a pilot early in 2018.
