Secure Tenancies (Victims of Domestic Abuse) Bill receives Commons second reading

The Secure Tenancies (Victims of Domestic Abuse) Bill, which began its parliamentary passage in the House of Lords, has received its second reading in the House of Commons.

The bill makes provision about the granting of old-style secure tenancies in cases of domestic abuse. It has now been committed to a Public Bill Committee which is due to meet and conclude on 27 March 2018.
