Coronavirus guidance for courts and tribunals

COVID-19 current court guidelines

Guidance for court users has been updated in relation to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

Anyone suspected or confirmed to have the virus and in self isolation in accordance with NHS advice needs to contact the court they are due to attend.

Hand sanitiser will be allowed to be brought into courts but security officers will ask for it to be used to prove it is not a harmful substance. Security officers may also ask you to move items in your own bag.

Judges may consider video links in certain circumstances as the court system remains flexible to maintain access to justice.
