Draft guidance on transparency should be published this summer, says President

Sir Andrew McFarlane, President of the Family Division, has expressed gratitude to those who have contributed to the Transparency Review call for evidence, which closed on Monday, 11 May.

Ninety-nine contributions from individuals and agencies drawn from across the world of family justice have been received and will now be considered.
Although somewhat delayed by COVID 19 crisis, the President and the panel were able to meet on 14 May and are very grateful to all those who have taken part in the exercise.  Work will now commence on reviewing each submission before holding oral sessions in June and July.

The President expects to be in a position to present a Final Report including recommendations and any draft guidance in the summer.
