Family Justice Council Forum 14 December 2020
Assessing Risk of Harm to Children and Parents in Private Law Children Cases
The Family Justice Council will be hosting a virtual discussion forum on Monday, 14 December 2020, looking at the report and recommendations of the expert panel on Assessing the Risk of Harm to Children and Parents in Private Law Children Cases. The forum will take place between 5.30pm and 7.30pm by MS Teams.
The event will be chaired by Mr Justice Williams and speakers will include members of the expert panel:
- Mr Justice Cobb – High Court Judge
- Neal Barcoe – Ministry of Justice and member of the Family Justice Council
- Eleri Butler – former Chief Executive, Welsh Women's Aid
- Lorraine Cavanagh QC – Association of Lawyers for Children
- Professor Rosemary Hunter – University of Kent and member of the Family Justice Council.
The panel will deliver short presentations and discuss some of the issues raised in the report. Pre-submitted questions and comments will be considered by the panel and there will also be an opportunity to raise questions at the event.
