Rachel Cooper is joined by Elizabeth (Liz) Isaacs QC. Elizabeth is a member of St Ives Chambers and door tenant at Coram Chambers in London, Atlantic Chambers in Liverpool and 18 St John Street Chambers in Manchester.

Elizabeth is a specialist child law silk and sits as a Family Division Deputy High Court Judge. In this episode she talks to Rachel about her journey into family law, her career at the bar, her fertility story and modern parentage issues, mental health with a focus on eating disorders, and working in family law during the Covid-19 lockdown. Rachel and Elizabeth discuss the case of Re C (Children)(Covid-19: Representation) [2020] EWCA Civ 734 and what hybrid practices might look like for family lawyers and their clients going forward.
