LSC issues guidance on working with the National Centre for Domestic Violence

New guidance issued in response to queries from contracted solicitors

The LSC has issued a guidance note for legal aid solicitors working with the National Centre for Domestic Violence.

The NCDV was established in 2001 as the London Centre for Domestic Violence, and is seeking more firms willing to accept referrals to legal assistance to victims of domestic violence. This Guidance Note seeks to explain how the NCDV works and how firms can claim for work through the LSC.

The full guidance note is available on the LSC site here.
