The Honourable Sir Nicholas Cusworth KC, Justice of the High Court (Family Division) is renowned for his expertise and deep understanding of complex financial disputes. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, being instrumental in advancing this area of law.
At the bar, Sir Nicholas specialised in the law relating to financial remedy, very often with an international element. He also had an extensive practice as a Private Financial Dispute Resolution Tribunal judge, and as an Arbitrator.
Sir Nicholas was appointed a Justice of the High Court, assigned to the Family Division in 2024. He was previously appointed as King’s Counsel in 2009 and Deputy High Court Judge in the Family Division in 2011. He also served as chair and vice-chair for the Family Law Bar Association (FLBA) between 2010 and 2013.
