HH Stephen Wildblood KC

Stephen Wildblood KC, Editor-in-Chief of Family Law Week, was the Designated Family Judge for the Bristol area for ten years before stepping down in November 2023. He practiced at the Family bar for 27 years, the last 8 ½ in silk. Stephen has extensive experience in all areas of family law, with particular expertise in public law children cases, including care proceedings and local authority matters.  He has written in over 20 legal textbooks on issues of family law and often lectures on the full range of family issues. He continues to sit, part-time, in the Family and High Courts.

The Honourable Sir Nicholas Cusworth KC

The Honourable Sir Nicholas Cusworth KC, Justice of the High Court (Family Division) is renowned for his expertise and deep understanding of complex financial disputes. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, being instrumental in advancing this area of law.

At the bar, Sir Nicholas specialised in the law relating to financial remedy, very often with an international element. He also had an extensive practice as a Private Financial Dispute Resolution Tribunal judge, and as an Arbitrator.

Alexander Chandler KC

Alexander Chandler KC, a barrister at 1KBW, is a specialist in high-value matrimonial finance and claims for financial provision under Schedule 1 to the Children Act. He is regularly instructed in intervener claims and cases that involve an overlap between family and civil law and procedure. Roxanne King

Roxanne King, a barrister at Queen Elizabeth Building, specialises in complex financial remedy matters following divorce. She also has a busy practice in private children law disputes and applications under the Family Law Act 1996.

Alexander Laing

Alexander Laing, a barrister at Coram Chambers specialises in children and finance law, particularly cases with an international element. He was described by Legal 500 as the “absolute go-to barrister on all matters”.

Alex was the Family Law Awards: Junior Barrister of the Year, which is the top category under KC. He is the only barrister ever to have won this twice. Greg Williams

Greg Williams, a barrister at Coram Chambers, has been a financial remedies specialist for many years. Victoria Clarke, Senior Partner & Head of Department at Elite Law Solicitors, qualified in 2015 and is a Partner and Head of Family at Elite Law.

Mani Singh Basi

Mani Singh Basi is a Barrister at 4PB and Managing Editor of Family Law Week. He is a specialist in international child abduction disputes and has appeared in 80 published judgments, in the High Court or Court of Appeal..
