This was an appeal by the mother of an abducted child against the High Court’s refusal to order the return of the child under Brussels II on the grounds of the child’s objection. The appeal was allowed.

This was an appeal against an order in ancillary relief proceedings concerning the treatment of the pensions of the parties in trying to achieve a clean break. The appeal was allowed and a pension sharing order imposed.

The appellant was seeking permission to appeal an order declaring that he was not the parent of E under the Children Act and so therefore required leave to make an application for a specific issues and prohibited steps order under s 8 of the Act. The appeal was dismissed.

A father was seeking permission to appeal interlocutory orders relating to contact arrangements and to institute proceedings for damages arising from breaches of his rights under the Human Rights Act 1998 and the ECHR. The applications were refused.
